You know it's a recession when wood products are much more omnipresent than chunky diamond-encrusted bling, but when jewelry and wrist wear looks this good, it almost makes you wish that the economy continues to suffer in its stranglehold. Casio just hopped on the wood train with their line of W-Shock Watches, taking the classic G-Shock model and bases it on an 100% hand/laser crafted wood bezel. The watches, which come in red or black, don't include too many bells or whistles that you wouldn't find on a normal G-Shock (hourly time signal, EL backlight with afterglow, etc.), and though these bad boys go for a healthy $250, you might as well pony up the cash and get with the times. Head over to the Wood Shock site to pick up one of these ---> http://www.w-shock.com/store.html
